Much more than a ski resort, Val Louron is the ideal place for the whole family to recharge their batteries, with in particular the most wonderful beginners' area in the Pyrenees, recommended for the little ones' first glides. To be also noted, panoramic pistes for the older ones, a vast choice of accommodation at the foot of the pistes, very nice prices and a lot of friendliness for everybody!

18 pistes representing 22 marked out km including 5 green, 6 blue, 6 red, 1 black - 13 lifts - luge area - 31 snow guns - E.S.F. ski school - heated picnic room.
New in 2008: doubling of the artificial snow capacity + new ski lift special for beginners in the Lapadé sector.

*Family : 2 adults + 2 children from 6 to 17.
**Val Louron reduces the price of its day pass for the 2008/09 season :
from 21.50 € to 21 €.

Children

Day care at the Le Lustou residence at the foot of the pistes : Tel. : 05 62 99 68 64. Snow kindergarten for children from 4 to 6 year old and skiing babies for children under 4. Tel. : 05 62 99 66 41.

Other activities

Balnéa (at 8 km): hammam, Jacuzzi, spa, fitted out swimming pool... all the baths in the world in a magnificent surrounding around the Génos-Loudenvielle lake. Mountain activities: snowshoe outings, hiking or paragliding. Cinema once a week during school holidays, theme evenings...

Main events

25 Décembre : Arrival of Santa Claus and fireworks.
Every Thursday during school holidays, downhill torchlight parade for all organized by the E.S.F.

Access

2 car parks. Winter caravanning at 8 km.
Road : Highway exit n°16 in Lannemezan, towards Arreau. In Arreau on the left, towards the Col de Peyresourde (Peyresourde pass). 5 km after Bordères-Louron, take on the right the direction of Val Louron.
Train station: Lannemezan at 40 km. Highway: exit n°16 in Lannemezan (40 km)
Airport: Tarbes-Lourdes-Pyrénées at 75 km - Toulouse at 170 km - Pau at 100 km.
